Research Details

Microarray, mathematical modelling

My primary research interest is in the bioinformatics and mathematical biology, in particular, the integration of system dynamic modeling to genetic research. Currently my research projects include (1) microarray data analysis, including the quality control, data filtering and normalization, data mining, and gene regulatory network modeling. (2) Mathematical modeling in diabetes research, which include the dynamic analysis of disease process, identification of disease-relevant gene regulation pathways, and glucose-insulin response and dynamics. The goal is to develop systems biology approach in human genetic disease research.
