The Goals:
- Create an environment for extensive analysis of gene sequence
so as to take advantage of commonly observed gene features.
- Create a database to support the long-term storage of sequence
analysis performed by analysis engines incorporated into MetaGene.
- Create a "weblication" that submits user defined sequence analysis
requests to the majority of web-accessible sequence analysis packages.
Provide long-term storage (date stamped) and annotation of results.
- Create analysis modules that process stored sequence analysis
results to determine characterization definitions, identify classifications
and search for structure correlation.
