Rat Genome Database (RGD) and related projects.

- Programmer Analyst III new
Demonstrated proficiency with web application development using any modern language. PHP experience is helpful but not required. If applicant does not have PHP experience, then they must demonstrate the proficiency to learn PHP. Knowledge of relational databases and database design is required. Thorough knowledge of web application development is required (HTTP Protocol, Application Servers, etc…) A basic understanding of clinical data management would be a big plus. Excellent oral and written communication skills are also essential. Strong critical thinking, problem solving and attentiveness to detail required.

- Web Developer II new
Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. Strong critical thinking, problem solving and attentiveness to detail required. Experience developing web-based tools using current technologies is a must. Database
programming experience using Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server is not required, but is preferred. Knowledge of health care standards such as HL7 and compliance training (HIPAA) is a plus. Experience with web-based communication tools (i.e.. Wiki’s, mailing lists, forums, webcasting,
etc…) is desired.
